Be a Guest on Local Whidbey with Magsy
Do you have a story rooted in Whidbey Island that deserves to be heard? We’re always looking for compelling, inspiring, and audacious islanders to feature on the podcast.
But here’s the thing:
This show isn’t about just filling a guest slot. It’s about spotlighting people with real stories—the kind that make listeners feel something, think differently, or want to take action.
What I’m Looking For
I feature individuals who:
- Live on or have strong ties to Whidbey Island, WA
- Are doing something unique, creative, brave, or community-driven
- Have a story that’s personal, meaningful, and worth sharing
- Can speak with warmth, honesty, and a little humor
Whether you’re an artist, innovator, farmer, business owner, activist, educator, or storyteller—we want to hear from people who embody the bold spirit of the island.
What I’m Not Looking For
This isn’t the space for:
- Sales pitches or self-promotion-only agendas
- General conversations that lack a strong narrative or takeaway
- Interviews just to “get exposure”
This podcast is for listeners first. We only accept stories that serve the audience and align with the show’s purpose.
How to Submit
To be considered as a guest:
- Send an email to support at withmagsy.com.
- Include:
- Your full name and where you live on or around Whidbey
- A short bio (2-3 sentences)
- What your story is about (think: a defining moment, challenge, or inspiration)
- Why you think it belongs on Local Whidbey with Magsy
- Links to any relevant social profiles or websites
If it’s a good fit, I’ll follow up with next steps. Due to volume, not all submissions can be accepted, but every story is appreciated.
